Back with a Vengeance

After an almost 6 year hiatus, the kid is back!

I started this blog on the advice of college professors (shout out to Otte Rosenkrantz) as a bright eyed, naive 21 year old journalism student. Now after 6 years, countless pints, a few girls and some heavy duty life experience; I'm  fresh  with material to rant and rave about.

In the years since my last post I've dropped out  of school, worked in the oil fields,  lost my father, returned to education , graduated,  struggled to find meaningful employment, found a perfect mate and currently in the process of 'settling down'.

It's been  an interesting few years . I'd say my experiences in the first half of this decade have been defining moments in my life and  shaped who I am today and who I will continue to be in the future.

This post itself was born out of boredom and a result of the most narcissistic of practices, the self google search. I completely forgot I wrote any of this shit and reading it was a trip back in time. I'll be posting a few other articles I've written for some other sites. Feel free to give em a read.

As in the past, feedback is welcome. I'm excited to make a triumphant return and I hope you, the reader, will return as well.
